Senior Backend Engineer

About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Backend Engineer to design and build robust server-side systems, APIs, and data pipelines. You will work with product managers and frontend engineers to deliver reliable, maintainable backend services that scale.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement RESTful and event-driven APIs.
• Architect database schemas and optimize query performance.
• Build and operate cloud infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines.
• Implement security, authentication, and authorization at the service layer.
• Write automated tests and maintain documentation for backend services.

What We're Looking For

• 5+ years of professional experience in backend development.
• Strong proficiency in Node.js, TypeScript, and relational databases.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as Cloudflare, AWS, or similar.
• Solid understanding of caching, queues, and distributed systems.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
